So i can easily build a script to GET a file from remote server bymatching
it for exact filename specified in script.format
Ex. GET FILENAME1_20180619.TXT
But what is the syntax to GET a file name that would already be in a
such as this? I am not concerned with "qualifying" the date valueunless
of course there is a fairly simple way to do that... but simply beingsure
the structure is sound by "qualifying" the filename and then being surea
true Date exists thereafter...
And to make it a little more fun, consider filenames such as...
FILENAME1_YYYYMMDD_CUSTOMER#_HHMMSS.txt
where real value might be...
FILENAME1_20180619_12345_022134.txt
I would use the FTP client APIs from RPG/ILE to drive such a
process.
Sincerely,
Dave Clark
