It seems to me it already fits at 10 CPI. Is the system doing Computer
Output Reduction on it (rotating and shrinking)? IBM i is making that
decision based on the definition of the spooled file. The only thing
needed might be to OVRPRTF the spooled file to PAGRTT(0).

To answer the question as asked, there are a variety of 12 CPI fonts
that I use with AFPDS printer files. OVRPRTF zzz FONT(086) /* Gothic 12 */

For a *SCS spooled file, OVRPRTF zzz CPI(12) may do it.

I tried copying the spooled file to a database file and then reprinting but
it loses the print formatting such as page breaks which were produced in
the original process.

CRTPF qtemp/splf rcdlen(133)
CPYSPLF zzz qtemp/splf CTLCHAR(*FCFC)
OVRPRTF QSYSPRT CTLCHAR(*FCFC)
CPYF qtemp/splf QSYSPRT

The PF needs to be one byte wider in order to accommodate the control
character.
