I looked at it again. I went thru the most of the OPEN FORUMS option on the left. Most of them looked dead and a free-for-all of text.

After your e-mail, I looked again. The default view for a forum is CHAT. CHAT, TOPICS and TASKS at the top work like tabs. TOPICS is a more traditional discussion forum view. I happened to be in the Python forum, and the most recent topic was June of last year.

I'm sure some areas are just more active than others.

Exactly. Here are some tips:

- All the widgets on your screen do something
- Explore
- Hover
- Click
- There are many Forums.
- You don't see them all until you look for them.
- Click on OPEN FORUMS on the left (look for it) to get a list of
forums to join
- Omnium Forum in tres partes diviso est
1. Chat
- Free-flow discussion
- You can add styling, code, images to your posts
2. Topics
- One-subject discussions started in a Forum
- Referenced with a link from the Chat point where they started
- Keeps a deep discussion from clogging a topic, very nice.
3. Tasks
- Ignore for now
- Ask
- The 5 new admins are eager to help!
- The forum CPF0000 (ha ha) is for any kind of question at all, good
place for newcomer questions
