There are vpn apps, but you need one compatible with your server. In my case, our network people told me to go to the Apple or Google app store and what client to install.
As for remote desktop, probably. I've never done it and can't imagine trying it on a phone sized screen. I just use vpn for the regular and mobile versions of Nav for i.

Is there an iPhone app to connect to corp network VPN, then remote desktop to work PC?
Currently, from my home laptop, wirelessly, I first connect to corp network VPN, which uses a DUO Mobile authentication.
Then I remote desktop to work PC, from which I can do any required process.
