Your method looks to me like you're simply replacing QUSRWRK with a user defined subsystem is not the path I can go down. Maybe a clearer explanation is in order.

You'll have to create your subsystem, and include in it all the prestart jobs you need in the new subsystem. You'll have to remove the prestart jobs from the old subsystem. (presumably QUSRWRK and QSYSWRK.
Make sure to assign new memory (don't use *BASE) to them and on the class entry specify that new memory pool.
In the archives somewhere I have listed all the steps needed to do this, (perhaps I should put them in the Wiki too)

Process the physical file. Not elegant, but it should work.

named REPYLIST that I can either read or, more safely, CPYF to my own PF
and then read. More elegant that reading a spool file. Thanks for the

Let me guess, the point of copying it to your own PF is to avoid coding SQL in your programs and, if one just has to stick with RLA, avoid level checks?
