I'm not sure if you saw my post from the other day.
What I discovered and confirmed.
The ESOH drives are GEN-3 drives.
Power 9 "appears" to only support GEN-4 drives.

Also, the ESOH drives are 528 byte sector drives, which IBM is moving away from.

I have 13-ESOH that I will need to discard at a future point.
