When you connect, are you putting in "servername:446". I always have to do this in power bi for it to connect since it communicates over the DRDA port 446.

Subject: Re: IBM i as datasource for MS PowerApps
Hi Matt,
I have already tried the DB2 connector together with the on-premise gateway. But I can't get it connected, an I suppose that is because it is for DB2 LUW as Justin also mentioned.

Arco,
What you are looking for is here:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/db2/
There is already built in support for DB2.
I think you want to be looking under the "Common Data Service"
section:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/connectio
ns-list
We use Microsoft's DB2 connector in Power BI and it works pretty good.
Obviously your going to need to setup the onpremise data gateway so the cloud service can communicate with your IBMi.
Matt
