Ok Dieter, that's a start. Where do you think the discussion of "6.8
Avoiding propagation of masked data" should be in the SQL Reference
manual?

That had plenty of notes of concern and perhaps the constraint could be
spelled out more than "If a violation check constraint does not exist for
the column, the masked data will be inserted or updated in the table's
column and no error will be issued." Perhaps adding a link to that
section 6.8 in that PDF with "for more information see..."?
