Maybe, but I doubt it would be pretty.
I know there are Java libraries that will allow you to edit PDF files. That might let you open it up and get at the text inside. That's assuming it's text. If it's an image, you'd have to extract the image and then try some kind of OCR.

We get receipts saved to the IFS as a PDF. I want to get at the contents so I can save to PF and reconcile.
Can I copy that PDF to a txt or PF on the IBMi that I can read?
Can I read the PDF directly?
This will all need to be done programmatically of course.
