Nice plug but really won't solve the problem.

If the packed number is stored as COL01 in TABLE01, COL02 in TABLE22, COLX
in TABLE and ... to the point where he has no idea whatever other column
names, in whatever other tables.
The one thing these tables have in common is that they are all journaled
to the same journal. Their offset is different based on where the column
is in the row,etc. Heck one column may be 7 packed, one may be 9 packed.
He just wants to find all updates to any table that had a packed 12345
updated or inserted between two times.
