Since we keep all passwords in sync, automatically, between Windows, IBM
i, and a few other things I see no sense in putting limitations on one
which do not apply to the other. The only exception being that the sync
works better when initiated from Windows so we set a lower expiration date
there than on IBM i. We allow the 128 character passwords (password level
3). Password level 1 and 2 are a total waste of time and effort. We
tried them and RAPIDLY went to 3. Much smoother!
We do not allow unsupported versions of Windows so 2 brought us nothing
but grief.
