If you have dedicated fiber from your provider it should be feasible.
My network guy just showed me a 1GB SFP labeled good up to 40km. IDK if
that was a FC SFP. Based on the "1GB" I'm guessing it was ethernet as FC
normally is rated either 4GB or 8GB.
