I'm attempting to use RDI rather then SEU for my development. Along with

that, im learning how to code in full free (**FREE).

When using rdi, the editor is very clunky in that it seems to be geared
more to old RPG. For example, the delete key wont combine lines below.
So:

line1
line2

wont become

line1 line2

hitting the delete key.

Also, the sequence numbers arent really needed anymore i would think,
but the editor seems to rely on them.


I have my Shift-Delete mapped in he RDi LPEX editor to perform
that line join operation. The LPEX editor is also NOT dependent upon the
RPG sequence number columns. But, the LPEX editor will maintain the IBMi
source file format line numbers that are outside the RPG data area.
