I would first verify all the settings in the properties files are set properly for your .jar file. Maybe something moved.
Look at the task manager for something like "Launch of IBM i Access Client Solutions". You should not see that entry. If you do just, end any.

Subject: Workstation cannot start 5250 session on ACS or ACS period
Another problem. This is what I get for taking 1 day of vacation. :)
This started Monday evening and I was on vacation yesterday.
One of our desktops cannot start a 5250 session via ACS. I told them to use Mochasoft (which worked) until I got back, which is today.
When I try to start a 5250 session by clicking the desktop shortcut, the session blinks and goes away. Way too quick for me to see anything.
If I try to start the app itself (acsbundle.jar) nothing happens. This is a java app and it's almost as if the AV software is not allowing java, but the AV provider checked and said no.
As I said, this has worked just fine for months and months until Monday evening. It definitely worked Sunday evening. The person who uses this workstation during the day was off Monday, so it could have happened anytime Sunday night or all day Monday.
My MSP (who also provides the AV software) has been working on it for an hour or so. Applied Windows updates, no joy. I replaced the acsbundle.jar file, no joy.
Anybody else seen this? Since I can't even get into ACS, it's kind of hard . . .
Thanks.
