Had a customer call with an issue with QShell not working. The Display Installed Programs screen showed Qshell with installed status of *ERROR. (They provided a print screen, so I know it was there)

When I signed onto the system I ran a CHKPRDOPT *OPSYS and it came back clear. Then I went to display Installed Programs the *ERROR condition was gone. I did not check before running CHKPRDOPT.

Question:
Could the CHKPRDOPT fix an error condition?
Is there anything else which change the installed status of an LPP?
