There are all sorts of schemes for how permissions are handled when one
creates files, e.g., by unzipping.
man umask for instance (on Unix or Mac).
unzip implementations have their own notions as well which may differ from
platform to platform.
In any case modern archive utils are disinclined to create files with world
write permission.
Windows erroneously creates everything 777 and zip programs know that, so
they distrust 777 bits.
chmod -R is your friend if you are unhappy at the result.
