We're moving email from Domino to O365. We were seriously looking into it
and kind of were scared off by the cost. Then the absolute freaking
mayhem caused when we migrated to Power 9 was the death knell. The mayhem
was eventually fixed (after about a month!) by a ptf for 5770999. So
Power 9 is good to go now. And, no, we were no "early ship" adoptee of
P9. Not sure there were any, or any of significance, judging by the
issues we and others experienced.
We are keeping a bunch of our other applications running on Notes/Domino
though.
Our new help desk person who helped convert a major hospital chain in our
area from Domino to O365 assures us that we won't be reducing our
problems, just exchanging them for new ones. Users won't care though,
they just want to run Outlook.
