Discovered cpytoimpf alone is not enough to take a columned table and move to the ifs as a flat “fixed” file with column formatting I’m requiring.

Thanks to mark waterbury I’ll be creating a new command to do the following...

Dspfd to outfile to get record length

Create new qtemp flat file with that rcd length

Cpyf columned to qtemp flat

Then finally issue the cpytoimpf on the qtemp flat.

problem is, the file is not really flat :) it has columns, but want it copied as a flat file...
