1) I found two spoolfile down load options.

View spoolfiles in output button - defaulted to a q I wasn't expecting, so that list appeared, with all the spoolfiles in that q.
Preferences were defaulted to a non-expecting q.
Actions - printer output - all my spoolfiles appeared
Preferences were defaulted to Current user, *all out outqs,

2) Can the Preferences be initially set for a user, or is this an initial one time required setup.

I see all the options available.

3) I'm not seeing the email option that existed in Naviagtor, conjunction with "Convert to PDF" which allowed a single step email of the spoolfile.

Is the only option to down load the spoolfile, and then attach to an email?

Paul

1. PDF has to be set in Preferences, and is either on/off.
2 & 3. Right-click -> Download Only

Subject: ACS spoolfile optoins

I need an update on spoolfile options available in ACS.
To the best of my knowledge, none of the below are available.

Currently, in iSeries Navigator, we use combination of the below.
1) Convert to PDF
2) COPY / Paste
3) Drag/drop

How are others in the group handling spoolfiles with ACS?

Thank You
