Are you compiling code in PASE or for AIX? If not, you probably don't need
XLC.

Subject: Trying to get RDi
Date: Fri, Feb 22, 2019 1:41 PM

Hi everyone
Before I forget - we are on v7r3

For a long time now - I have been begging, cajoling, pleading the powers
that be to get RDi
Note - crying doesn't work either
Well - the powers that be may be softening - a little
They have said we might be able to get it - if we can swap something out
that we don't use, and therefore do not incur any additional charges

Anyway - the following products(?) we are not sure if we need them - or
even what they really are and I am hoping someone can supply a
description - or point us to somewhere that will describe what they are

IBM Aspera
IBM Database Enterprise Developers Edition
IBM DB2 Workgroup
IBM Rational Software Architect for WebSphere Software
IBM Rational Application Developer for WebSphere
IBM WebSphere application Server
IBM XL C/C++ for AIX

As always - all answers gratefully accepted
