Default is in a folder up from the folders where you save your emulator configs. Its named "..\RunSQLScripts\Examples". You can move that location in the properties file be changing the property named "com.ibm.iaccess.SQLCustomExamples" (at least in 1.1.8.1, good reason to update).

Thanks Matt and Rob.

I recall recently that someone mentioned that perhaps we could save the type of queries somewhere on the internet so that everyone had access.

Was it ever decided where?  Perhaps I can add Rob's query if he doesn't mind.

Good idea Matt, kind of where I started.

If you have ACS RSS installed there are examples (menu Edit -> Insert from Examples). Search for lateral and at 1.1.8.x there is an example using OBJECT_STATISTICS but as the primary driver for the query. You might be able to adapt your query. The example I suggest is the one named "Find objects in a library, not included in an authorization list". Looks like you should be able to replace the QSYS2.AUTHORIZATION_LIST_INFO view with SYSPROCS view easily. I know its not exactly what you wanted but I don’t have an actual example.

Hi all,

If I run these two queries

SELECT specific_schema, specific_name, external_name
  FROM sysprocs
  WHERE specific_schema = ('QS36F')
        AND SPECIFIC_NAME = 'ADDSTOREZONE';

Which returns

SPECIFIC_SCHEMA SPECIFIC_NAME EXTERNAL_NAME

QS36F           ADDSTOREZONE  QS36F/ADDST0001

And then feed it to the table function

SELECT *

  FROM TABLE(QSYS2.OBJECT_STATISTICS('QS36F', '*PGM',
    OBJECT_NAME => 'ADDST00001')) A;

I can get the last used date for the sql procedure.

Before I go reinventing the wheel has anyone else done a similar query
that could be posted?

Thanks,

Rob
