I find this rather confusing, especially with the trailing note.
<snip>
Program number VRM Service discontinued Program name
5765-CD1 1.1.x April 30, 2020 IBM AIX(r) Enterprise 7.1 Edition
5765-CD3 1.1.x April 30, 2020 IBM AIX Enterprise 7.2 Edition
Note: The program PIDs are not withdrawing. Only the release level 1 or 2 is announcing end of service.
</snip>
Ok, so how do you tie VRM 1.1.x into AIX 7.2? oslevel returns 7.2.0.0
And how do you reconcile that with:
https://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=isg3T1012517
oslevel -r
returns
7200-03
oslevel -s
returns
7200-03-02-1846
I guess this means AIX 7.2
03 = TL3
02 = SP2
1846 = build identifier
