Subject: Re: Homegrown QINACTITV

The one I wrote utilized the Inactivity timer system value. I had the messages sent to a message queue that was monitored by a never-ending-program.
That program makes decision on whose job to end.
Its not perfect as the messages are sent based on when the SBS started. And not actual clock time for inactivity.

Let's say you're not ready to take the leap on QINACTITV. Is there anything in the following which will tell you how long it has been sitting in DSPW?
Select
JOB_NAME,
AUTHORIZATION_NAME,
job_active_time, a.*
from table(qsys2.active_job_info(
RESET_STATISTICS => 'NO',
SUBSYSTEM_LIST_FILTER => 'QINTER' ,
JOB_NAME_FILTER => '*ALL',
CURRENT_USER_LIST_FILTER => '',
DETAILED_INFO => 'ALL'
