The issue John raises goes across all the lists.  Yes the list is great, and the talent here is top-tier.

But the simple stuff?  The very basic video tutorials are not available.  I struggled for months with the IWS wizard and most of the stumbling blocks were of the is-it-plugged-in variety.  I gotta tell ya:  If one doesn't already know quite a lot about the new subject s/he is learning, the IBM learning aids are just plain overwhelming.  Now that I have figured it all out, setting up a new web service takes about 20 minutes plus whatever it takes for me to do the SQL service program.  IBM really has done a good job with this product.  imho.

I would love to see Buck's clarity coupled with Jon's showmanship for a series of the very basic stuff, like "using RDi to build PRTF's" or "Your first web services api".  All aimed at one notch above "Hello World."

There has been a few times where I've struggled to decide which list should
I use? For example, having an issue with SQL embedded in RPG. Depends
whether the issue is the RPG part or the SQL part.

And David can vouch there has been more than once I've emailed him
privately and asked which list, before posting. He's always responded in
pretty short order.

I agree. Seems like order of appropriateness would be WDSC-L, RPG400-L,
MIDRANGE-L .
