Re: When is a file available on IFS

the solution I came up with was to journal the IFS directory and then do a
RCVJRNE.

When the files has been written, the program you specified on RCVJRNE is
called and the information on the file is passed.

I have some old code if you are interested.

No, the file will show in the IFS after the first byte has been received...

commonly accepted practice...send the file with a different name (or
extension) and rename it after transfer is complete...

Other option, send a flag file after transmission of the primary is done...
