Danny,
Both IBM i servers, and Windows servers, allow you to create "shares". On either system you can have a directory which may look like this:
//Directory1/SubdirI/subdirA/subdir1/subdira
And then you could create a share called BubbasData and have that share point to that end directory.
Then from a client machine you could go to
//myserver/BubbasData
And you would see the contents of that directory.

I'm trying to figure out how to create that share in iACS.
