I'm having a hard time believing something was not messed up in the original
installation. You should not see what you are reporting.

I'd call IBM, in a hurry, before the BP does more damage.

What you are doing should be extremely simple. It takes me longer to
prepare and invoice for the work, than to sign on to the SAN, create some
LUNs, then add them to the partition.

Our BP hasn't done anything yet, so I went ahead and checked like you
suggested. There are about 2.5 pages of entries shown in that SST option.
They all show:
Type Model Capacity
2145 050 76354

The BP is working right now, so I'll save that for later. Thank you

Translation of the latter part:
Did you go into STRSST,
3. Work with disk units
2. Work with disk configuration
4. Add units to ASPs and balance data
3. Add units to existing ASPs
And see anything besides
<snip>
The function you requested cannot be performed at this time
because:

o The requested function requires one or more non-configured
units. No non-configured units were found on the system </snip>
