I'm wondering if Nadir inadvertently left off a "not" in that sentence.  As in "IBM does not say it is not handy".  That would actually make more sense as a response to "it's ALWAYS come in handy", especially when the next sentence is talking about an RFE.

Maybe that's just how I read it.  :)
