No way. Re have over 100 LPARs and 5 servers on our primary vHMC and reboot it when it gets service. That's it. Never had to reboot for memory. How much do you have allocated?

I do find the Serviceability, Tasks Logs, to be quite useful in pinpointing when your last restart was, when you started a lpar, how long Backup management console data took (1 hour, 11 minutes, 12 seconds), etc.
