Well, my HMC made it to just one day short of a month before I have to reboot it due to memory issues. Not that big of a deal but having to use the KVM to restart the shared sessions can be a bit of a pain.
I do find the Serviceability, Tasks Logs, to be quite useful in pinpointing when your last restart was, when you started a lpar, how long Backup management console data took (1 hour, 11 minutes, 12 seconds), etc.
When the memory issue happened it issued a call home to IBM. They say this happens when your HMC hasn't been rebooted in a very long time. I asked them what is their definition of a very long time. They replied that the recommendation is to reboot it every month. Um, buddy...
