Does Oracle provide a version of J9?

J9 isn't a VERSION of Java it's an implementation.

IBM created the J9 JVM and it's the basis for the IBM i, AIX, and Windows (which is supplied with RDi) implementations.

In general, it's a drop in replacement for Oracle Java.

A while ago IBM made it open source, relabeled it as OpenJ9, and donated it to the Eclipse foundation.

There are OpenJ9 implementations for Java 8, 9, 10, 11, & 12.
