java was 1.8.0_31 and latest PTF SF99710
tried installing newest release of java then console wouldn't work

have decided to wait and see if I get IBM maintance

will use 720 as is - just playing wrote hotel system using physical files
and now making copy that uses sql tables and sql to handle data

Dave how's your PTF group levels and Java versions? Those are absolutely the main two culprits when Navigator for i doesn't work.
