The PTF description says much about the support - that many UIM panels will support it, some won't. I did find, IIRC, that it works in WRKSPLF, it doesn't work in WRKMBRPDM that I could see, it does work in CALL QCMD.

An RFE might be in order, and maybe we wait just a bit to see how it goes.

PDM is a UIM based application.

Many UIM list panels and UIM menus have a "command line" -- I wonder if this also does not work for some of those cases, or if it is truly just PDM?

Perhaps we need an RFE to get IBM to also fix this so that it behaves consistently across all IBM-provided APIs that present a "command line"... including UIM panels.

Just saying ...

Oh wait, it works everywhere except the command line after using STRPDM.

Weird.

hmmm, I just applied it and signed off, and back on, and I get "you

Ever press F9 one too many times?  Now you can enable the F8 key to go

PTFs can be applied immediate. You do need to sign off and back on for
the change to take affect.
