Hello Jim,

I've not seen one of those since the Exx days. Specifically on the E02 that was used at a Travel Agency we used to own....

I think so. ASCII terminals were long gone when Twinax Terminals were still somewhat common.

I'll get a lended 9402-400 back somewhen. I'm thinking about putting an ASCII WS Controller SPD card in there, but so I can only tinker wird this relatively old box. So I'm searching an external device.

Building something myself with Linux and tn5250 and serial cards in hardware: No thanks. Terminal management is somewhat broken nowadays: Most often Linux Console and xterm are the only terminal definitions used nowadays…

What kind of box are you putting it on?

9401-150.

I'm assuming you know that on more modern equipment you can put the graphical adapter card in it, then the Unix partition it's assigned to can use it.

Yes, you assume right. But I'm not talking about Linux. I'm talking about attaching some ASCII terminals I have in my hobby room to the AS/400 (yes, it's truly an AS/400!) I have.
