On a side note, ssh-keys and X.509 Certs (aka: SSL/TLS-Certs) share just minor common attributes but are not to be confused. A webserver cannot use ssh-key(chain)s to have browsers contact it and the Ssh-Server will not operate with X.509 Certificates.
