Good article Jon.   Thank you for linking to it.

My point, and my only point, is that, yes, the future is coming and if we want to be part of that future we better be paying attention to the changes.  And yes, we need to deal with F-keys going away.  But if we don't advocate for our 5250 solutions then no one else will.

It's us or nobody.  Pure & simple.  And yes, there is a clear place for 5250 solutions, for goodness sake let's use the good stuff (check boxes, radio buttons, scroll bars) and ignore the lame stuff (menu bars and 9,999-row subfiles).
