Got a call from IBM this morning.  Apparently my remaining Power 8 died.  Something about a backplane issue.  They mumbled something about it having been going on awhile but it finally called home.  This concerns me.  Like, is there some way I could have caught this before it died?
On the positive side it is mainly a sandbox machine.  2 lpars of VIOS and 5 LPARs of IBM i.  Mostly for testing and triple redundancy.  One lpar does have some old archived Domino databases.  Probably the only one a "user" may notice.  Well those who may have been working on any Domino server on any of it's other lpars as they got automatically failed over to a live server.  But, really, I do it's quarterly downtimes midday, midweek.
