I assume you want to schred the JSON document with SQL?
Documents beginning with an array are (currently) not allowed (I assume
there is already an RFE).
You can do a work around, i.e. putting the complete JSON document in an
object, i.e.
Select *
From JSON_Table('{ "root": ' concat YourJSONDocumentWhereEverItIs concat
'}',
'$.root[*]' ...
