Subject: current_timezone was: ISO-8601 & Birgitta's Solution

This had me thinking about current_timezone again.
If I run
Values current_timezone;
On IBM i I will get back something like -50000 during Eastern Standard Time
and -40000 during Eastern Daylight Time.

What does SQL server return? Will it vary according to the time of the year
or is it something you just have to know to adjust? What I'm reading is
this:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/t-sql/functions/current-timezone-transa
ct-sql?view=sql-server-ver15
