It would be nice to know of such a shortcut but the mouse for that is not too invasive. And once you get the list of examples up typing in the search bar is my preferred interface. Having to remember CREATE OR REPLACE TABLE versus searching for CREATE TABLE is a bit of a drag when searching IBM's examples. On the plus side, CREATE TABLE rushes to my examples.
One option is to show content assist.
Select * from mylib.myfile
Then try hitting ctrl-space while on the * or hit ctrl-space at the end of
Select * from
You could be a Run SQL Scripts example in his Start up group. :-)
I do rather wish that they supported CONNECT TO MYIBMI.MYDB in there for such startup stuff. I do have a Run SQL Scripts with daily to do in it. And I have to click on the connect to system to get started.
