1) If the primary VTL failed, and you needed to recovery from the 2nd remote VTL, you would need a FC connection to access the remote VTL, correct?
Most of the VTL configs I've been reviewing do not include that.
They only have an IP connection between VTLs.
2) When a VTL volume is initialized and created, (larger then needed to include a full BRMS save), what happens to the unused space on that volume?
Should append be used to fill all VTL volumes?
Reason I ask, we currently "append" all our BRMS saves to get full use of each LTO7 volume.
