Hi all,
So I'm attempting to install ACS and get it set up in a way that we can
then deploy it out to our entire company. At one point in the last month
or two I had it working, and then something has occurred to make it not
work again. Here's the latest.....
I've downloaded the latest version (1.1.8.3) from IBM. I extract from the
zip file to a new local directory. I know that at this point I can just
run the acsbundle.jar file and start sessions, etc. up that way. While
that works fine for me, it will not work for our users, who have shortcuts
to their Client Access sessions on their desktop and will want comparable
functionality with the new version. I know from this point of the install
I'm supposed to be able to run the "install_acs_32" or "install_acs_64"
JavaScript file and have the application complete the installation such
that I'd be able to create shortcuts to sessions, etc. When I attempt to
run this, I get an error dialogue box entitled "Windows Script Host" that
gives the following error information:
* Script: install_acs_32.js
* Line: 1088
* Char: 7
* Error: Path not found
* Code: 800A004C
* Source: Microsoft Jscript runtime error
If it matters, my Java version is 1.8.0_241. I've not been able to find
any info on what might be causing this. My guess is that I'm doing
something incorrectly in the way in which I'm installing it, but I'm not
sure. Any help/info the amazing folks online here could provide would be
awesome! Thanks in advance.
