I experienced the same thing here. Irritating enough that I switched
to &USERN*= instead.

We have ACS configured to use &COMPN*= for workstation id.
All working fine.

However, when accessing the work PC via remote desktop from home PC, and
then launching ACS, ACS is using the home PC name as opposed to the work
PC name.
The home PC name does not match any of the subsystem name entries, results
in a black screen.

Opened a ticket with IBM ACS support, they could not explain why this is
occurring.

Anyone in the group experiencing this issue and/or know why ACS is pulling
the home PC name when used via remote desktop.
