I just saw in the local paper that the county is forking over $300K for a ransomware attack. When I first heard of it a couple months ago, I mentioned to a county official that the Rochester product line has never been hacked. The county is now looking into a whole new system.

I've never heard of a virus that actually runs on IBMi. The biggest virus threats that I know of are, the IFS being a carrier and crypto-locker type malware on infected PCs attacking NetServer shares.

At one time someone said there has never been an i-Series virus in the wild? Never knew if it was true then or not.
If it was true, is it still true?
