I would remap that to enter. I, too, used to use Right Ctrl as my enter key. I've never used a Mac. The reason being was that Right Ctrl was about where the enter key was on a 5250 terminal. Well, I haven't touched a real 5250 terminal in decades and I switched to using my PC Enter key a long time ago.
If your PC keyboard as a numeric keypad you can use the plus sign on that for Field Exit. Some also use a combo for Field Exit, such as shift-Enter. Now, if you're a head's down keyer with very frequent use of Field Exit your preferences may vary. But I suspect that a Mac user is probably not likely to be a heads down keyer with frequent use of Field Exit. I'll admit that's pure speculative bias on my part. Or you can just remove the vowels from bias and see what you get.
