No I don't know of another way. Workstations are assigned to subsystem 
by name, that's the way that works. So if we control the virtual device 
name then we control which subsystem it lands in.

Note: OK You CAN use workstation Type but all the virtuals are either 
3179 or 3477 using a 5250 client or V100 for vanilla telnet users. That 
doesn't really help.

This technique doesn't seem too complicated to me either and it would be 
a single CL program if I wrote it.
