running this on my 7.4 server:

SELECT * FROM TABLE(QSYS2.OBJECT_STATISTICS('QSYS', '*CMD'))
order by OBJCREATED desc

shows some "recent" SST commands, the PTF is listed in one of the fields

I too have heard of new commands and what not to get at stuff you previously had to go into SST to get to.
An example which is not so new is STRCMNTRC versus starting a communications trace from within SST.
But I could not find those directly. I check the mythological TR2 notes for 7.4 and didn't see anything.
