Hi Chris,

IFS performance highly depends on disk performance. Read Performance can be ok
when you have a reasonable amount of RAM in your IBM i memory Pool for the
appropriate jobs (usually pool 2).
Write / delete performance simply needs fast disks or better flash.
(this is an architectural issue for IBM i and i already created an RFE for this)...
