Machine A could use this
https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/ssw_ibm_i_74/rzajq/rzajqudfhistoryloginfo.htm
to look at the history log on Machine B.

And if you changed from the primitive method that spool files are the only way to look at joblogs you can use this:
https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/ssw_ibm_i_74/rzajq/rzajqudfjobloginfo.htm

But if you insist on knapping arrowheads from stone and use spool files for your joblogs then you can use this:
https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/ssw_ibm_i_74/rzajq/rzajqudfspooldata.htm
but it's gosh awful for looking at a joblog instead of jobloginfo.

We have 2 IBM I systems on V7R3 that run FTP scripts back and forth.
Everything works well for the most part.

We have a script on machine A that starts an FTP session with machine B and executes this FTP statement.
QUOTE RCMD CALL QSNDDTAQ ('ZM205R_PQ' 'BKS2MAIL' X'00128F' 'TEST')

On machine A the ftp response is that the remote command was sent successfully.

On machine B how can I see the result of the RCMD that was submitted by machine A?
Is there a log I can query? Is there a job I can look at?
