Greg,

Thanks. I just finished a test. It works very well!

How is your device configured, on the i? Network printer or remote outq? Can you post your config? I'm using a remote outq, but would prefer to switch to a native *LAN *DEVD, if possible.

Mark,

I just finished a project (Endicia/Stamps.com) where I'm doing exactly that. I use the PRTSTMF from Scott K. to send the files directly to the Zebra printers.

Aside from a CCSID blunder on my part, it works fantastic.

Subject: Sending a .zpl stream file to print

I have some .zpl (Zebra Print Language) stream files in the IFS. I
want to send them to a Zebra label printer.

1) What's the best way to get the contents to a spool?

2) Are there any *DEVD configuration gotchas (the printer is on the
local network)? I prefer a *DEVD vs. a remote outq.

TIA.
