Jack and David,
Noting the part of those messages that says to "contact the maintainers" you guys probably need to open a PMR or support ticket or "case" (in the new SalesForce terminology) to try to get IBM to fix this.
Or at least ask about it over on the Ryver IBMiOSS forum, since Jesse G. hangs out there?
If all else fails, create an RFE and we can all "up-vote" it ... :-)
All the best,
Mark S. Waterbury

Interesting, I tried that and a few wouldn't load, but when I chose plafs
that would load, as you say, there was no difference.
Which indicates perhaps that the iACS code specifically examines and
overrides one's choice.
Especially since when I add a plaf I get the following warning:

WARNING: An illegal reflective access operation has occurred

This with:
openjdk version "11.0.8" 2020-07-14
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 11.0.8+10-post-Ubuntu-0ubuntu118.04.1)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 11.0.8+10-post-Ubuntu-0ubuntu118.04.1,
mixed mode, sharing)

Folks:

Has anyone ever tried to tweak the look & feel on iACS?

I'm using it on Ubunutu and would like tweak how it looks.

I'm using openjdk 1.8 and see a number of L&F classes, but when I try to
override the look at feel, nothing happens.

java -Dswing.defaultlaf=javax.plaf.synth.SynthLookAndFeel -jar
acsbundle.jar

Any suggestions?
